The Burton Name Dropper is a park-focused, softer flexing snowboard that makes all the little things easier when locking down the perfect line through the XL lane. The Name Dropper is the softest and most playful board in the Burton range, by utilising an ultra-thin profile with reinforcement under the binding mounting points for extra dampening so you don\'t feel all that chatter through your feet and knees. It\'s packed with tech to make it just at home cruising around the mountain as it is locking into butters, presses and rails in the park.The Name Dropper gets it\'s playful nature from it\'s construction. A unique blend of traditional camber between the feet, out to flat camber with early rise in the tip and tail gives this board lots of snap-back energy to generate pop while the flat camber gives a stable platform to press and butter on while the rocker in the tip and tail slightly raises the contact points to give you a forgiving platform for sticking your landings and preventing edge-catches at those critical moments.Soft flexing boards usually come at the sacrifice of torsional rigidity, response and durability. However, Burton cleverly prevent this by laying stiffer density wood just outside your feet to create a more direct power transfer to the tip and tail, while less dense wood is used between the feet to promote a natural flex pattern. This is complimented by high-density foam inserts on the top-sheet to increase the dampness of the ride in mixed conditions.The result of all this technology and design is a soft, playful park board that has the responsiveness and aggression to rip around the rest of the mountain if that\'s what appeals to you on the day.
