A dwarf selection of this uniquely fragrant and aromatic herb. Just right for patio containers or year round crops indoors on a windowsill. Indoor sowing: All year round for pots indoors, in pots or trays of moist compost. Sow thinly, cover lightly with compost. Firm gently. Cover with clear glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at 15-20ºC and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. Transplant to 15cm pots of compost, place in a light airy location. Harvest all year round. Pick the leaves as required. Outdoor sowing: May-June, in growing position. Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine soil. When large enough thin as necessary, spacing 20cm apart. Pick leaves as required from June-November. Pick seed heads when light brown (outdoor crops only). After drying shake out the seeds and store in an airtight container.
