The Johnsons Seeds Organic Cosmos are growing orange blooms appear in great numbers throughout the summer. They are fast growing and are loved by bees and butterflies. Ideal for mixed borders. Indoor sowing February to May, in trays of seed compost. Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 15-20˚C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. Grow on at approx. 13-15˚C. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 20cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free. Flowers June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
