Refurbish your patio with Johnsons Aubergine. Bushy plants produce lots of smaller, useful-sized and attractive fruit with excellent flavour. Indoor sowing: January to March, in pots or trays of seed compost. Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or a propagator lid. Keep at approx. 20-25°C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear. Grow on at a minimum of approx. 20°C. When plants reach a height of 15cm transplant to individual pots or cell trays. Transplant to large pots and place in a sunny sheltered spot on the patio or in the greenhouse.
