The Las Pampas Wood Fired Plus XL barbecue has a sturdy brick and refractory concrete construction with a metal chimney and Argentinian style grill. The grill is suspended on chains so that you can raise and lower the grill, to adjust the cooking temperature with a crank system. The grill, made of stainless steel, comprises v-shaped channels which allow fat to drain away from the food during cooking into a trough at the front of the grill. Not only is this a healthy method of cooking, but it prevents flare-ups which may taint the flavour of your food. A metal drawer collects ash to aid cleaning and has a useful shelf for utensils or storage under the grill area. As this BBQ requires no painting, it is easy to maintain.
