Picking plump, juicy figs straight from a tree in late summer is one of life's greatest pleasures. Perfect in a large pot to keep roots restricted which increases crops. 'Brown Turkey' is one of the best varieties for UK gardens, easily shrugging off temperatures down to -15C. Extremely drought tolerant, figs do best in a brightly lit, sunny spot and are kept in a pot to restrict roots. Supplied as a standard form Fig tree, at 70-100cm tall, with about 50cm of clear stem, and a shaped 2-year-old head on top.
