This version includes 33 city centre street plans of capital cities, showing, where appropriate, metro connections and highlighting numerous places of interest and selected hotels. Coverage at 1:900,000 extends to the borders of Ukraine and Belarus, with these two countries and the central part of European Russia presented at 1:4,500,000. Topography is shown by relief shading with plenty of names of various mountain ranges, peaks with heights, valleys and other topographic features. National parks or other protected areas are highlighted. Within Greece names of towns and villages are also shown in Greek alphabet.Road network, including smaller local roads, is clear to see against the background information and indicates driving distances on main routes. Border crossing points and motorway services are clearly marked. Railway lines and ferry routes are included and local airports are shown. Picturesque towns and villages are prominently highlighted and a wide range of symbols indicate various other places of interest. The maps have no geographical coordinates.
