Made entirely from recycled, post-consumer plastic bottles, the Desert Cushion is perfectly adapted to outdoor living. Extremely durable with a texture that recalls virgin wool, this narrow cushion fits comfortably in the backrest of the Desert Chair, but can just as easily be used on its own. With the help of specialized technology, the Desert series presents a sustainable line of textiles made entirely of post-consumer plastic bottles. Each Desert Cushion – the cover as well as the stuffing – is made from 48 bottles. This technique gives you incredibly durable designs while helping to clean up the oceans. Rugs, cushions and mats made from plastic may not initially sound like a textile that is soft to the touch, but with the Desert series won’t leave you longing for virgin wool.
