This LED pygmy light bulb from Crompton Lamps is designed as a true retrofit replacement for 15W incandescent pygmy light bulbs.The lamp\'s tiny size and versatile design make it suitable for a range of restrictive fixtures where space comes at a premium. It can be used outside, for example, thanks to its IP65 rating. This makes it especially effective in large scale public fixtures where multiple light bulbs are used at once, such as illuminated signage or scoreboards etc. These types of fixture can consume huge amounts of energy, particularly if they\'re fitted with traditional light bulbs. However, a single LED pygmy light bulb uses around a tenth of the energy of these light bulbs, so replacing them can pay huge dividends further down the line in terms of reduced energy consumption and deflated energy bills.This light bulb also has a much wider ambient temperature range than other pygmy light bulbs, working between -20 and 30 celsius. This equips it for use in a range of household appliances, from cooker hood light bulbs to fridges.Fitted with a SES-E14 small Edison screw (14mm) cap.Please note that even though the light bulb itself is IP65 rated, it must be used in a suitable IP65 rated socket in order for it to be used outside safely.
