The Chicco Seat 4 Fix Car Seat is homologated according to ECE R44/04 as Group 0+/1/2/3 (0-36kg). 4 groups in one car seat: more than 10 years of safety and comfort. The Seat 4 Fix is easy to use at the highest levels, thanks to the 360° rotating system and the safest installation in each stage thanks to the ISOFIX system. Group 0+ installation is done by using the ISOFIX connectors and top tether in the rearward facing position, it is easily transformed to a Group 1 from here simply by rorating the chair – or it can be left rearward facing for extra protection. The transformable reducer with a removable wedge provides ample comfort and ensures the correct angling and best posture of the head/chest. For ease of sitting little ones in the seat, it can be rotated to face out of the door for loading and then rotated back to its safe travelling position once you have secured your little one in the seat. When your little one reaches Group 2/3 (15-36kg), the car seat has to be installed forward facing using ISOFIX connectors, top tether whilst the child is safeguarded by the car seat’s seat belts. The side safety system provides additional security in the event of an accident – this system is retractable to fit into your car. If your car is not quipped with ISOFIX system you can install the car seat and restrain your child using the 3 point vehicle belt.
