Aerocool created the Cylon Midi-Tower with two particular characteristics in mind: appearance and weight. What resulted from this approach is a lightweight case that, thanks to its RGB lighting, also looks fantastic too. Even the I/O panel of the Cylon stands out compared to its competitors - due to its inclusion of SD- and Micro SD card slots. The acrylic glass side panel gives the Midi-Tower case a premium look and affords users an unobstructed view of their gaming hardware and the RGB lighting inside. The case fits a total of seven fans. Three fans come included courtesy of Aerocool. The white front panel includes a stylish plastic strip in the shape of a backslash that is illuminated with RGB-LEDs. The top cover is where the I/O panel is located, and this includes a reset button in addition to an on/off switch, a USB 3.0 Type A connector and two USB 2.0 jacks and a 3.5 mm jacks for audio and for a microphone. The special feature here however lies in the inclusion of card readers for SD- and MicroSD cards. The edge of the side at the front of the case includes a discrete switch for controlling the RGB, enabling users to change patterns and colours. Excellent Ventilation and AirflowTwo 120 mm LED fans are located behind the front panel, although these can be replaced by two 140 mm fans. Alternatively, a 240 mm radiator can be installed. The top of the case can hold a 120 mm fan, and Aerocool has thoughtfully included a 120 mm fan on the rear. The panel above the PSU can hold two further 120 mm fans to provide extra cooling for graphics cards, and a 180 mm long ATX-format power supply can fit underneath this. Graphics cards up to 346 mm long will fit in this case, however if users remove one of the fans in the front of the case, GPUs up to 371 mm will fit. Two slots for 3.5\" drives are located behind the ATX power supply, although 2.5\" drives will also fit. Should you want to install two further 2.5\" SSDs or hard drives, there is space both in front and behind the motherboard tray. ATX, Mini-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards are compatible. Users will also appreciate the presence of dust filters in the top and bottom of the case to keep your hardware clean and in good working order.
