Made of robust PBT, a semi-crystalline plastic , they are superior to conventional caps made of ABS in terms of durability and abrasion resistance.The keycaps are vividly colored and the lettering is not translucent. In the case of illuminated keyboards, this ensures elegant underbody lighting of the key caps.
