Modern laptops are becoming ever smaller and thinner, especially if they are to be portable and light. For such compression, however, hardware must be installed in a very small format and be dispensed with one or the other connection. Many notebooks now like to use the modern USB Type-C ports, which are particularly small and flat and can still be very well integrated into the housing. This Akasa converter uses just such a Type-C USB port and makes it easy to convert this port into a VGA, USB Type-A and USB Type-C port. Insofar as the output port has the fast 3.0 standard, the ports of the port also run at this speed. The converted VGA signal supports resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 pixels.
