Bitfenix has introduced the third generation of its high-quality LED strips, a case modding product that is highly sophisticated in all respects and allows a case to be illuminated very simply and effectively. Complex lighting effects in 16.8 million colours are possible, which can be synchronized with other compatible components via the ASUS Aura Sync software. For this purpose a suitable ASUS motherboard with corresponding 3-pin header is required. The 30 cm long strip has 15 RGB LEDs in TriBright design, consisting of three diodes which are much brighter and have a longer lifespan than conventional LEDs. Thanks to the strong magnets the LED strip can be easily installed in steel cases and readjusted if necessary. For non-magnetic surfaces, adhesive tape is included. For connection there is a special 3-pin connector at one end of the LED strip, which can be connected to a compatible ASUS mainboard with an RGB header or a suitable RGB controller from BitFenix, which is not included, using the supplied 50 cm long connection cables. Note: The Alchemy 3.0 LED strips are not compatible with controllers and LED strips of previous generations.
