Thanks to the MX(+) connection, the switches can also be used in keyboards equipped with Cherry MX switches. To ensure the highest possible level of compatibility, Cherry MX keycaps are also compatible. With a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes, the Gateron switches are very durable.The typing feel of the Gateron switches is very pleasing as the switches are much smoother yet more tactile. The Gateron switches bring significant improvements to the (still) market-dominant Cherry switches.Gateron Brown switches are a compromise between a pure gaming keyboard and an ideal typing keyboard. The switches have a low trigger pressure of 45 g and tactile feedback - so you can feel the release of the button. Since you can feel the closely spaced switching points, you can write very well with Gateron Brown switches. However, due to the short drop, you can also perform quick keystrokes one after the other, which is important for gamers.
