Exclusively commissioned by the Regency Chess Company and made by Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain, the board construction utilises high grade veneers combining a beautifully rich palisander rosewood border and deep black anegre squares. Complementing the black squares are light maple wood veneers that help create a starkly contrasting playing surface. The board is finally finished in a deep gloss lacquer which accentuates the wood grains. Perfect for accompanying chess pieces with king heights of 4 to 4.5 inches (102 to 114 mm).
