Kings Cross Carved Camel Bone Chess Pieces
Bone chess pieces that have been intricately carved and coloured by master craftsmen. Beautifully carved from ethically sourced camel bone. Exquisite detail. 4.25\" (107 mm) king. Weighted and felted. Perfect on an 18\" (45 cm) board. The Kings Cross Camel Bone Chessmen are one of the rarer products we have in the Regency Collection. Every set we sell comes from ethical suppliers who only source camel bone from animals that have died from natural causes. Craftsmen then go to work creating a regal series of chessmen that demonstrates clear difference when it comes to each side. The whites are almost translucent, it seems, as bright as the light behind them. On the other side an army of black pieces come with detailed engravings in the colour of their enemy. The royals wear overstated crowns and the knights are unimaginably detailed from base to head. The king is 4.25 inches tall and has a wide base diameter of 1.3 inches (34 mm), making the King\'s Cross Camel Bone Chessmen most comfortable on a board of 18 inches (45 cm) or larger.
