As is often the case in the later stages of chess matches, the rook takes center stage in the Cannon Series Chessmen. This detailed cannon is the only such rook within the Regency Chess Collection. In close proximity, the knight has been carved in a way that makes it appear as though it is slightly ducking its head, all too aware of its neighbour\'s power. Like the aforementioned rook in this series, the bishop is unlike anything else in the Regency collection. The bumped detailing, as well as the shorter size, make this swift attacker a Regency favourite. The temple like royals within this set are the most extravagant pieces in the Cannon Series, detailed closely with sharp, tribal designs. The king is 3.3 inches (84 mm) tall, which means that boards of around 18 inches (45 cm) are the most appropriate for the Cannon Series Chessmen. That translates to square sizes of 1.75 to 2 inches (45 - 50 mm).
