The Milanese craftsmen who conceived these pieces were so intent on creating something unique that they went about engraving every piece with an intricate, filigree-like pattern. The result of their diligent, almost obsessive, attention to detail are the Maghreb Brass and Nickel Chess Pieces, offered here at Regency Chess. This collection gives a nod to the traditional Staunton style although it has been altered to fit a regal, slender motif. Despite the elegant appearance, the Maghreb chess pieces still hold plenty of weight thanks to their solid brass makeup.
