Beautifully handcrafted from ebony, the ornate knight pieces are a predominant feature of the appropriately named Cavalry Series Chessmen. However, all the pieces boast extra carving detail on their collars and bases. The bishops have deeply carved mitres whilst the rooks have more rounded turrets. Heavily weighted and perfectly balanced, these luxury chess pieces fit comfortably on a 20 inch (50 cm) board, but will complement a smaller board with squares of at least 2.1 inches (53 mm).
