The design has a a rather delicate Staunton stroke and exhibits elegant sweeping shanks. The hand carved knights have a beautifully carved mane, detailed teeth and swept back, pointed ears. The king in this set is 3.75 inches (95 mm) in height and has a base diameter of 1.6 inches (41 mm) making the set suitable for chess boards of 20 inches (45 cm) and larger.
