A chess set for a lifetime. The broad base solid ebony and boxwood chessmen are classically Staunton in design, large, heavy and beautifully hand carved and hand turned. They are polished using only natural waxes and polishes and have additional weighting added to their bases. They are substantial at four inches in height for the king. They are beautifully complimented by the tournament specification mahogany and Maple chess board at almost 22 inches in width.
