A rather dandy chess set made from beautiful Sheesham and walnut woods. The elaborately sculpted Apple series chessmen have been hand carved from solid exotic sheesham wood and are a breath of fresh air to the eye. They are well weighted and have been polished by hand to a seductive rich shine. The walnut and maple board is a veneer design and is made in Spain. The colours of both board and pieces match well.At almost 20 inches in size, this set is a great size for home use as it will be accommodated by most coffee and dining tables.
