This beautiful Premium Metal Skyline Chess set of pieces were introduced in September 2018 to the Skyline Chess family. This item, along with the London and New York editions makes up the Premium metal range. Each piece is individually cast by hand in beautiful solid resin. Metal powder is then added to the pieces and this gives weight to the pieces and a fantastic unique finish. The Premium Metal range fit the city maps, the marble and wooden skyline chess boards perfectly. Such iconic landmarks and the quality and precision is unforgettable. The buildings chosen for the set were based on the cities most recognisable and influential forms from the 20th century. This includes the iconic Transamerica Pyramid and Painted Ladies, but also the Salesforce Tower which opened in January 2018.
