Jacob-Desmalter was a master 19th-century French cabinet maker. This gorgeous ornament bearing his name is as stunning as anything he made. The outside is leather embossed with a stunning chevron design. The lid has a metallic brushed brass finish and sits recessed inside the box. The brass handle stands proud in the centre.
