Montana Matte Varnish provides a quick and easy way to an even covering of varnish over your work. It gives a crystal-clear, matte finish, and is acid-free, to guard against yellowing and desaturation. This varnish can be used for indoor and outdoor work, and not only fixes paint but also protects it against oxidation and UV light. For greater protection against UV, you can apply more coats. Montana varnish is suitable for use on a huge range of surfaces, including canvas, paper, wood and much more. Montana sprays are quick-drying, generally becomming touch-dry after about 30 minutes (depending on room conditions). When putting on layers of varnish, it is recommended that you leave 1 or 2 minutes drying time between coats. The varnish should be fully dry after approximately 24 hours, but is dependent on the substrate used. This product is INCOMPATIBLE with synthetic base lacquers.
