The stretcher bars are made of spruce wood, which is kiln-dried to finish, increasing its resistance to warping and making it even better at protecting against moisture. The canvases have a depth of 0.75 inches, so they are robust and sturdy without being bulky. Every canvas is primed with richly pigmented titanium dioxide Gesso, giving them the perfect level of both tooth and absorbency.
