An Extra Heavy Gel in Matte made by Golden that has a much thicker consistency compared to other Heavy Body Acrylic colours in the Golden range. It is one of the thickest of all the Golden gels and will mix easily with colours to help increase body and viscosity. This makes it ideal for creating defined peaks and holding them in place along with techniques like impasto. This gel along with all others by Golden are opaque when wet but they will turn clear when dry. As this gel is matte it will offer the least amount of sheen on your surfaces helping to hide pinholes and dents and there are two other variations one being gloss and the other semi-gloss. You can create glazes with them, extend paint or change the finishes of your artwork so there are many uses and possibilities.
