High Solid Gel in Matte from Golden has a much thicker consistency when compared to other Golden Heavy Body Acrylic colours and it is most similar to the extra heavy gels also included in the Golden range. This will help to provide defined peaks and fantastic surfaces texture as you work your paint on the canvas and is especially useful for techniques like impasto. This is the matte version which will provide the least sheen and reflective light on your surfaces better hiding pinholes and dents, there is also a gloss and semi-gloss variation. When compared to other gels it will offer a higher loss, less shrinkage and it dries to a solid quicker then most.
