Arches Aquarelle is a top quality watercolour paper made from 100% cotton. Traditional mould-made manufacturing techniques make the paper harmonious with a natural grain similar to handmade paper. The cotton fibres are equally distributed throughout the paper, making it more stable and helping to prevent deformation when wet. The paper itself has a rough texture with each sheet measuring 56 cm by 76 cm and a weight of 640gsm, giving you plenty of strength and durability for the most heavy handed watercolour painters. Unique gelatin stock-sizing techniques are employed and used in all Arches watercolour papers, giving the ability to withstand scraping and shows colours at their most vibrant whilst being able to absorb a large amount of water with little deformation.
