This Huile Oil Sheet from Arches has been specifically designed for oil painting, made from 100% quality cotton that is completely acid-free helping to prevent yellowing and discoloration. The paper measures 56cm by 76cm with a weight of 640gsm that has been cold pressed for a bumpy surface texture. The powerful oil barrier on the surface of the paper helps with water and solvent absorption, letting the paint and pigment remain on the surface for a more striking effect and more vibrant colours. Thanks to the unique gelatin stock-sizing techniques it makes the paper perfect for vigorous painting techniques including, rubbing, scraping and is durable enough for impasto layers.
