Red Skies Lighthouse Cairngorm Shape Mug  The intense hues of the dying embers of a glorious sunset are the main theme of the gorgeous image depicted on this mug from Dunoon. In the distance mountains shadowed in the deep blue of dusk are silhouetted against an orange sky, tinged with the purple shadow of evening. A lighthouse can be seen in the middle distance, about to begin sending out its nightly message of warning. The water in the foreground is pale gold, with streaks of purple and orange, still reflecting the waning glory of the departing sunset. This mug celebrates the lonely life of the outposts of Scotland, and presents a lovely image in its own right. Pam Carter studied at Glasgow School of Art and lectured for many years as well as exhibiting her work. She has been a full-time painter since 2003. Pam is inspired by the Scottish landscape and seascape, focusing on contours, light and dramatic viewpoints. Cairngorm  The \'Cairngorm\' shape, named after the eponymous Scottish Mountains, is a larger version of the Lomond shape mugs. It has a gentle slope to the body and a curved handle.
