Wrendale  Farmhouse Jug from Royal Worcester This elegant fine bone china jug from the Wrendale Collection has a large enough capacity for breakfast milk on the kitchen table but would look equally lovely holding a posy of daffodils or pansies on a windowsill. The milky white china is decorated with a delightful portrait of a bemused duck, with yellow feet turned inward and looking slightly askance. The duck is painted in muted blues, browns and yellow. One or two escaped feathers are flying around him, and he is surrounded with the speckles of paint which are characteristic of artist Hannah Dale’s work. The duck appears on both sides of the jug and the handle is decorated with leaves and speckles. The jug is both dishwasher and microwave safe.
