StarCraft Remastered is a classic space strategy RTS game developed by Blizzard Entertainment and released in 2017 on PC. That is why the developers decided not to change any gameplay mechanics. The game offers the same classic RTS experience. During the gameplay, players will have to collect resources, build new constructions, train units, and fight with enemies during real-time battles.The game features three playable factions, each with different pros, cons, and strategies. The Terrans are the representation of the human race. They are the most universal of the three races. One of their biggest advantages is the possibility to transport the whole buildings, which makes them extremely mobile. Protoss are strong and can use extremely advanced technology, significantly ahead of any other race, however, their development is very expensive, making it difficult to expand their empire or train new units. Zergs can be seen as the complete opposite of Protoss. They are a weak, feral race but their strength is in number. Zerg units are very cheap and they can be created very rapidly. Their tactic is to overwhelm the enemy with hordes of low-cost, weak units. The game features six different story campaigns, two per race, as well as renewed multiplayer mode, supporting advanced matchmaking, and other new online features.ReceptionThe game received many positive opinions from players and reviewers.
