Unfortunately for you, the island has different seasons. During the summer you can, for example, farm crops etc. However, winter is going to be deadly for you. Resources and food are going to be a rare luxury. Besides, during winter you have to take care of the temperature of your own body. Even a cold might be deadly for you.
