Zebra 800012-942 YMCKI Inhibitor Panel for ZXP Series 8 – 500 Images This ribbon (800012-942) is a YMCKI ribbon that prints 500 images over your ID cards dependent upon the image that covers the card. The panels incorporates a full colour print (YMCK). The YMCKI ribbons are for both single and dual-sided card printing. The YMC panels are used to print on the front of the card, while the black resin (K) with the inhibiter panel (the I panel) can be used on either the front or back of the card. The inhibitor panel allows cards with surface foils on the front of the card or signature panels on the back of the card, to be printed on by preventing the retransfer film from adhering to those areas. The main use of the inhibitor panel is to print on parts of the card that previously would not be able to print on due to transfer film.
