We’re excited to have this beautiful ‘Artist’s Proof’ ( a unique print taken from the etching plate midway on the printing run) by Kane McLay in our Art Room. It shows the figure of a young man in a state of ‘becoming’ – a transition full of wild spirit caught sensitively in the etched lines and spontaneous ‘real dreadlock’ overprints in this moving piece by Kane. Observing the human form through drawing, painting and printmaking. My aim is to make work that portrays the animalistic and primitive parts of ourselves that make up the ‘being’ in all animal and human life. Kane McLay
