First, try cleaning them with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel, and if they are fairly new, or recently re-waterproofed with Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof, the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) will be revitalised just from cleaning. Once footwear have been thoroughly used, you will need to add DWR using Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather: Hand Wash For best results always clean footwear first with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel. No need to dry footwear before waterproofing. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions.
