When you see Jim Murray (The Whisky Bible author) describing a whisky asAs much of a work of art as a dram\' you have to take notice. The great Dr Bill (Lumsden, Director of Distilling at Glenmorangie) is indeed on fantastic form in creating this luscious whisky. The spirit does indeed come from 1989 and has been aged in ex Olorosso casks; ex Bourbon casks and most notably ex Cote Rotie wine casks. ### Product Description Glenmorangie uses some of the tallest stills in Scotland meaning that the ethers during distillation are incredibly light. This translates directly to the taste- light, fruity and incredibly accessible. The house is also based in Tain which has its own little micro climate meaning that it is relatively mild weather.
