Having been aged for seven years in American oak, charcoal filtered to remove tannins and then carefully blended, Don Papa has a rich, smooth taste. Light and fruity on the nose, smooth and delicate on the palate, the light amber-coloured Don Papa has a long, rich-textured finish and offers flavours of vanilla, honey and candied fruits. ### Product Description Don Papa is a premium aged rum from the Philippines created in the furtile foothills of Mt. Kanla-on on the Island of Negors where the finest sugarcane is milled to produce sweet, rich molasses. The Philippines has a long history of cultivating Noble sugar cane, the original variety, first discovered centuries ago in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands.
