The first WhistlePig Rye Whiskey aged in Vermont Estate Oak. In partnership with ISC, Master Distiller Dave Pickerell designed a custom char and toast for their unique Estate Casks ,made from oak trees harvested right from the farm and the surrounding area. Vermont oak has tighter grains, or more growth rings per inch. Each ring is an opportunity to impart more flavour and depth in whiskey. At 15 years old, this is some of the oldest Rye Whiskey in the world. Includes handmade Danforth pewter stopper.
