That same year Geilston\'s was purchased by Harry J. Neill and five generations later it remains in the hands of the Neill family. Harry continued to grow Geilston\'s across Ireland, Scotland and in overseas markets. HJ Neill sourced many of its premium whiskeys from the Cromac distillery which was owned by Harry\'s great friend Johnny McConnell, of J and J McConnell, and subsequently by Harry\'s brother-in-law Sir Charles Brett. The Cromac distillery was situated just along the road from HJ Neill stores which were situated at 9/11 street.
