The distillery is facing the clear waters of the Oosterschelde which is the biggest National Park of the Netherlands.After many testing and tasting sessions our master distiller Meindert Kampen came up with a delicious artisan distilled Black Tomato Gin.Besides secret botanicals we use drops of fresh salt Oosterschelde water and homegrown great- tasting black tomatoes.Our distillery is one of the rare distillers in the Netherlands to have its own traditionalmalt-floor, stone floor for the sprouting of steeped malting-grains.We are proud that we can make traditional organic malt-wine using the best ancient ingredients from our provincie.Black tomatoes contain a high amount of healing anthocycanen. These compounds occur in vegetables and fruit. Some believe that the antioxidants could help diabetes, cancer and obesity.
