One of their most famous (or should that be infamous) fans was none other than Napoleon who it is said took bottles of Moet & Chandon wherever he travelled.Tasting NotesMoet & Chandon\'s 75th Grande Vintage release was characterised by an October grape harvest- the first time this had happened in over 20 years. The Champagne itself has a lovely golden hue with fine bubbles (crucial to ensure flavours are fully expressed). Rich, honeyed notes mingle with nutty characters whilst there is just enough white citrus fruit to bring a slight zestiness. For those of you curious, the blend is almost equal parts Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
