These thermal labels are completely phenol-free, so instead of a toxic phenol top coating, a high sensitivity, natural Vitamin C based coating is used instead - suitable for direct thermal and water-based flexography, and providing the same long-lasting print and colour to your labels, just without the harmful properties of BPA. Phenols and bisphenols never completely break down, meaning once labels containing BPA are disposed of they remain as microplastics in our oceans and environment, are ingested by animals and fish, entering the food chain as a result. Our thermal labels are made without dangerous phenol chemicals, and instead made from FSC Certified Mix Credit paper pulp, are 100% plastic-free, and fully recyclable - the ideal eco alternative to introduce into your packaging supplies.
