Patagonia\'s stretchy, neoprene-free Yulex™ wetsuits, made from 85 % natural rubber and 15 % synthetic rubber in polymer content, are manufactured in a Fair-Trade™ certified facility. Their plant-based rather than petroleum-based material offers the thermal insulation and performance of conventional stretch neoprene, but produces around 80 % less CO2 emissions. The material has a Forest Stewardship Council™ certificate from the Rainforest Alliance. An admixture of chlorine-free, synthetic rubber increases ozone and UV resistance so it meets Patagonia\'s (and your) high standards for resilience and durability. The super lightweight R1™ Lite Yulex™ Front-Zip Full Suit is designed for maximum stretch and free movement. Its 2 mm thick material has a highly elastic, quick-drying lining made of 100 % recycled material. The outer material consists of 85 % recycled polyester and 15 % elastane. The outer fabric and lining are now jet-dyed (saving 100 litres of water per suit compared to traditional dyeing) and laminated with AquaA™ water-based adhesive that contains no harmful solvents (VOCs). The full-opening, asymmetrical front flap with stainless zipper closes tightly and allows maximum mobility for chest and shoulders. The Salmi® zipper is completely replaceable to extend the life of the suit.
