Armada wanted to build a ski for their team rider and ski legend Sammy Carlson with which he could master his extreme lines and which he could also use for touring. The improved Caruba core, in combination with the rocker on tip and tail, makes exactly that possible. It is therefore very responsive, offers you little resistance and a low swing weight. Touring, surf-inspired riding and a freestyle trick here and there - that\'s what the Whitewalker was made for. Riding style The Whitewalker is a high performance freeride ski for advanced riders with maximum freestyle orientation, so you can also pull your wheelies and butters in powder and off-piste. It remains light enough to take into the backcountry on foot. Shape This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape. The nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in fresh snow. Profile This ski features Armada\'s Freestyle Rocker profile, a classic camber under the binding and a consistent rocker in the nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and slope, good uplift in powder. Flex The medium-stiff flex makes the ski hard enough for powerful turns, but still soft enough for a playful ride. Construction The AR75 sidewall construction comes with a cap construction in tip and tail and with a sidewall under the binding. The cap construction in tip and tail reduces the swing weight, while the sidewall makes the ski more robust. The Caruba core is Armada\'s lightest woodcore and offers you the best ascent qualities without sacrificing the power and performance you need in the backcountry. This core makes no compromises when it comes to lightness and stability. The Comp Series base is very robust and Armada\'s fastest base. Smear Tech lets you glide effortlessly forwards, backwards, to the right and to the left so that you don\'t jam or get caught unintentionally during a take-off. This 3D shaped base in nose and tail create a unique feeling of safety in all kinds of snow conditions.
