Say hiya to Hiya – a new snack brand with bars that are vegan, gluten free, and high in fibre! In fact, we have gone the extra mile so that there are none of the 14 declared allergens on the back of our packs. So, Hiya is just right for today’s market where consumers are looking for vegan, gluten free and ‘better for you’ options. We have broken away from the conventional fruit-based bars and are the first to go for a chickpea base and have loaded it with seeds such as flax, melon and poppy. The best thing about this is that you get a nutty taste without the nuts! To add to this, we use unique Indian spices and have come up with five fabulous flavours: ginger, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon and cacao (a cheeky addition because we all love chocolate). In developing this delicious snack, we have made sure that we have not used any additives or preservatives and have kept the ingredients to a minimum. The mix of chickpeas and seeds means that it is a low G.I. snack, packed with Omega 3s and fibre and keeps you going for longer. Hiya in Sanskrit actually means ‘from the heart’, we couldn’t put it any better!
