Akash is purity tested.As we believe only pure basmati rice has the tantalising flavour and magical aroma that makes it the most Delicious rice on EarthCooking Akash Basmati: Everyone has their own preferred way of cooking basmati, This is our favourite, Allow 60g of uncooked rice per person (approx 1/2 cup) 1 measure dry rice, 2.measure water.1. for best result we recommend you to soak the rice in cold water for 30minutes, then rinse in a sieve with cold water 2.Take a large pan and add 2 measures of cold water to 1 measure of basmati 3. Bring to boil, reduce to low heat cover and simmer for 10-12mins, until the water id absorbed, Avoid opening the lid or stir the rice 4. Remove from heat, stand covered for 5mins 5.
