The Reloop Beatmix 2 MK2 is a 2 channel pad controller for Serato. Both Serato and Reloop have teamed up to bring you an easy, fun to use 2 channel controller for Serato\'s world-renowned DJ software, which has been designed to be completely plugand play, just connect and start mixing it\'s that simple.The Beatmix 2 MK2 brings you an ergonomically designed mixer layout, optimized for a club feel, allowing you to work intuitively. The controller has an extremely sleek and smooth felling crossfader alongside the units high-quality line faders and the dedicated equaliser and gain dials. The controller also gives you 16 multi-colour drum pads and two extensive FX units allowing you to expand your creativity. On top of these features, the beatmix2 MK2 has ultra-flat, touch-sensitive aluminium jog wheels with a diameter of 14.4 cm allowing you to perform precise beat matching, fast searching within tracks and give a tradition vinyl feel.The Pad section of this controller has 16 rubberised pads allowing you to implement more creative ideas into your live mix. The 3cm pads are used to control features such as cue points, trigger loops, select loop lengths, and trigger samples. Any confusion between the features your triggering on the pads is ruled out due to the trigger pads being coloured coded giving you visual feedback regarding status and mode selection, allowing you to always be uncontrolled especially in dark environments.The Beatmix comes with a specific Serato sampler control. You are able to trigger samples using the pad section of the unit. This works whilst in split mode which will allow you to control both cue points and samples on the multicoloured drum pads and the same time. The effects section on this unit are high-quality studio effects designed by iZotope and can be creatively manipulated within Serato, due to the units two separate FX banks. each FX bank is equipped with three rotary knobs and an endless decoder. With this, you are able to choose which FX and play 3 simultaneously on each side. The Beatmix 2 MK2 also has an FX quantize feature allowing you to keep all you FXs in time.
